I recently used it when my 7 month old grandson came to visit. We hung it in the living room opening and it worked as expected. My grandson jumped in it. When I first put it in I didn't CLOSE the belt properly so it rocked from side to side. Once I knew the belt needed tightening, it was safe. I sat on the floor next to him the whole time, just out of caution. I had something very similar with my children. This helps them strengthen their legs in preparation for walking. This special Johnny Jumper has a handle that attaches to a jig so parents can get started with parental help.
