Review on 🐾 Optimized Knee Protector for Dogs by Kruuse Rehab by Ashley Cook

he/she can handle it easily if he/she is relatively smart.

Use the chart and measure first. I have two Siberian Huskies. I measured and it matched the breed recommendation but it didn't fit my other husky. You need one size bigger, so measure. Second, he/she will easily accomplish this task if he/she is relatively smart or lucky. My dog just lay down, crawled back and got up and he went right through it. Third, be careful with the velcro and hold the sewn part open while undoing the folded velcro to attach the strap. Mine broke halfway through and I had to sew it back on. On the other hand, it works for minor injuries as long as it fits and stays in place. My husky has a slight ligament injury in her knee so I need this to keep her from moving her leg too much and I think it restrains her quite well. It has helped and I've had her running around the garden with it for a while recently and she's back to normal so the good news is that it stays on while they play it helps the injury heal but if left unattended will they probably do take it off. I noticed an improvement which I wanted, but the fact that it tears so easily that she can easily take it off makes this product a bit overpriced. Don't expect high quality, measure with the chart on the website and don't leave them alone with this thing when they're chewing. My other husky would tear this thing apart. If you subtract all of my grievances you have a good product that limits the use and movement of the knee and can help your dog. Just don't expect this thing to do all the work and magically heal you. A big part of the job is getting you to control your dog's movements. For example, I use these cheap wooden gates to keep them from running and jumping up and down our stairs and to keep them from running to the door when it's time to go outside. I believe this would be even more beneficial for a less hyperactive breed.
