Well I wish those little bulbs that go around the rims weigh next to nothing but they have all the cables and batteries which is tedious and for sporty cycling weighs too much. This little device holds a charge for a long time, fits snugly and has just enough light to make your bike more visible from the side. I would highly recommend them to all night cyclists. It would be nice if it could be mounted on two spokes so I could mount it a little farther from the wheel, or if the flange or fenders were a little longer so I could mount it farther and not worry about it could spin and get caught on fork. Anyway, I mount it fairly far, about 8 inches from the hub where the spokes fit snug enough that the fenders touch the spokes on either side of the mounting spoke. Regardless, I think this is the best lighting product out there.
