Works as advertised: USB 3.0 speed. So far no problems. (For example, there is no "Unrecognized USB device"). USB 3.0 is such a nice speed upgrade over 2.0. I typically get transfer rates of 80-90 (or higher) MB/s and actually never go below 35-45 MB/s. That's an increase of 10-20 MB/s on USB 2.0. I like that there are only two common slot types: SD and Micro-SD. Thats all I need. 6 or 10 slot readers that I never use just look clunky, fragile and like dust magnets. I'm not a big fan of the short cord, but I understand it's preferable for some purposes. Anyway, I bought a USB 3.0 extender for my application. So far this has been working fine (a few months). However, these USB 3.0 extenders are expensive.
