It worked great and I'm glad I bought it. However, additional work is required before installation. You must remove the circuit board from your old device and attach it to your new device in order for it to work with your Xbox. A small amount of solder is required. It won't be for everyone, but if you have hands-on it's not too difficult. Mine has been running successfully for several months now and I would definitely buy it again should the need arise. There are videos on YouTube that explain what to do. Do not attempt this without watching the video.
