Review on 🔪 Tandy Leather Craftool Strap Cutting Tool 3080-00 by Kelly Caballes

I am new to leatherworking and wanted to cut a strip of leather to make a belt. I was so stupid I made a line in the skin to guide my cut ON THE WRONG SIDE of the skin. So I had to point the handle of the device away from me. I was a little nervous before starting as it required squeezing rather than pulling the skin. But after adjusting the device to the desired width and reducing the "height" slightly, I applied a small forward force - and two inches were cut off immediately. Easier to cut than butter! I worked fairly slowly on the countertop to keep the leather strip flat and pulled the leather forward. And I was done in less than a minute. Easy easy. There were several cheaper similar devices on offer. But their verified reviews were mixed at best. I'm very glad I paid extra and bought this model. I'm still amazed at how easy it was. Your blade must be very sharp! I have not received any compensation for this review. I don't believe in paid referrals.
