I ordered this cat bed for our 7 year old cat to keep her cozy this winter. We unexpectedly adopted a stray kitten shortly after it showed up and decided it would be a better fit for her. This is the only cat bed she will go in - we think because she is so soft and warm. It's big enough for an adult cat but cozy enough for a little kitten. The only thing we could think of is that it tilts or collapses a bit from time to time. This doesn't bother us, because both the kitten and the cat prefer to be more closed. For us that was an advantage.
