I have 3 cats and a rottweiler who all shed like crazy. I also have a tweed sofa that folds like it was his work. I have a battery operated epilator but it's slow and I have to stop, clean it, change batteries and keep going. I still have to use a mechanical one but it will cut the cleaning time in half. . You can see the amount of hair and pills he lost in the first picture. In the second picture, and sorry I didn't think about it before I started, my sofa is pretty much the end of how I use it. It's great, it snags a bit on my tweed sofa but it's a different fabric so I honestly expected it. Haven't used it on clothes yet and to be honest I only bought it to help with the sofa so I don't know how it will be or if I'll even try.
