meh. I used it with whipped cream, powdered sugar and vanilla and after 4-5 minutes of stirring (pumping up and down) I had whipped cream. I've had faster results by placing the metal bowl and whisk in the freezer. Not different results... just faster. The whipped cream from this device tastes the same as other products I make. It doesn't get very cold since it's plastic and holds 1/2 to 3/4 cup of liquid. A little more and it expands too far to effectively pump air into the container. There is a bit of a leak where the handle goes up and down, everything came out of the dishwasher perfectly. I currently keep some whipped cream in the freezer and use the base as a (somewhat) airtight lid. This requires the same effort as the manual impact method. I wish I hadn't bought it but I'm not disappointed enough to return it. Not great, but not terrible either.
