It's very transparent. But it's perfect for the base/down layer when I use it. I also hung it upside down from a canopy to avoid sagging in the middle as it's larger than my full sized bed and I don't need gaps around the edges. I'm adding an extra layered red net with ruffles from another company on my Goth Princess bed. And that's the perfect place to start. It was nicely packaged in a thick reusable ziplock plastic bag (and it's used for art supplies! 😂) and all mounting hardware was provided. Hand pressure test, hooks do not bend. So whatever apps you choose, it's quality. ❤🖤
