Review on BYBAIZ Skateboard Wheels Street Inches by Arturo Reyes

They're actually pretty good

Really good wheels. Won't replace your Formula 4 or anything, but good enough to safely mess around in your driveway. The shape is like a spherical cone if you've ever ridden an OJ "out of concentration", price points are similar, wide enough to handle a bit of crust and not throw you off. you slide. It's not a buttery smooth 4-slide formula and I wouldn't trust them with a speed test on a giant hill bomb or anything, but you can yank them out and they'll bark a little when you get back on your heels. You'll probably notice them if you try, I got a little from an odd landing on a big spin but by the end of the session it was gone. These 52mm 55D wheels are sold with and without graphics in various places here, so I'm guessing a factory in China makes them. I've seen them for as little as $12 if you order direct from overseas sellers, but I got these as one day they were top notch and only cost a few dollars more. This is the second set I've bought, the first had different graphics but the same wheels (had given them to a kid who wanted to learn to skate) and I don't feel left out. There's nothing special about them, but they do their job perfectly. If you're looking for a cheap Mini A logo road bike that's sold out (as usual) then I'd say go for it if you can find it in the $12-$15 range. They definitely skate.

Pros
  • Great for street/off-road at the skate park
Cons
  • Protection
