Review on Metra 95-5026 Double DIN Installation Kit for Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury Vehicles (2001 and Up) - Black by Gene Rosado

This worked on my 2004 Ford Escape Limited. We removed the bottom tabs. I had to remove the inside of the radio on the car. This is a 1/4 inch lip on the inside of the top and bottom of the hole. We left the parties alone. The back cracked when we tried to put it in, but the sides and bezel held it perfectly, placing it under the bezel and then putting the bezel back on. We installed a Sony wx900 bt and it's not a full 2 din case so the back isn't long enough and we didn't want to drill a new hole in the plastic part but the lower jaws broke off anyway. The stereo has a hole to mount it, but we got it 1/4 wrong. Wiring is another issue, but YouTube helped a lot. It also needs a step down and stereo works great.
