Now I've bought 4 of these to replace old cartridges. Their tops don't fit the old cartridge but I bought them to get rid of the old design. I had a few leaks with the OLD style which resulted in cracks in the top. The tops feel a bit softer than my old black ABS style, but the overall design feels more solid. My first two are over a year old. As I had more problems with my old devices, I decided to buy more of them. Effective overall dimensions and mounting holes are standard. The only difference is the thread depth of how they screw into the clear canister. No problem as it is a complete unit.
