Review on 🔗 Nite Ize GT6-2PK-01 Original Gear Rubber Twist Tie, 6 Inch - 2-Pack, Black by Mac Quigley

They are awesome - I'm placing my 4th order for them today! First I got a multi-size set - very versatile and found a use I hadn't originally thought of. I use this size instead of zip ties to close plastic bags etc - they are much stronger and provide a better closure of the bag. One thing to watch out for is that the gear strut will twist after some time of use and reuse. Slowly and carefully unwind the cable tie and twist to straighten it - if you don't do this, after a while the rubber coating of the metal core will break and after a while the entire tooth tie will break. So take the extra time to unroll once you've used it a few times - it's worth it to prolong the life of your tie. I've only lost one tie this way so far, so it's definitely worth the extra effort. This is really a great product. This size (3 inches) is best for sealing plastic bags. I use the 24" to hold the rollator together when I fold it.
