Review on Ibera Bicycle Handlebar Camera Bag With Clip-On Quick Release, Rain Cover And Map Sleeve For Equipment by David Silva

Broke on the 3rd or 4th ride

I bought this bag, mounted it on the bike (super-easy, super-secure), and went for a ride. I liked the bag so much that I ordered a second one for my wife. While we were waiting for the second one, the first bag broke catastrophically (see photos) on the third ride, in the same way that other reviewers here have had this type of bag fail (see other people's photos). The second bag duly arrived. I used it as replacement for the first bag, intending to buy a third one if it worked out well. However, after the fourth ride, it is developing a crack (see pics) in exactly the same place (again, see photos). I am returning both bags to Ebay. I feel lucky that mine failed so early that they are still returnable. The advertised carrying capacity of this bag (medium size) is 3kg. The total weight that I had in the bag was 900g: my small camera, my phone, and a first aid kit. In fairness, I ride off-road, and it can get bumpy. But still, who rides their bike and never encounters bumps, even on the road? The problem with this bag is that it derives its strength from a thin piece of plastic board that is not strong enough. If a new and more robust version of this bag were to be released I would buy it because it is very well designed (hence my two stars, not one), easy to use, and has a great mounting system. But it is let down by one crucial weakness.
