This is great value for money and gives you the ability to add additional detectors at a very reasonable price (after setting up the first one with the required receiver that connects to your wifi). I think I'll end up with 6 detectors along with the base that together cost in the $70 range. When triggered they make a beep and after about 2 seconds a notification pops up on my phone. My fridge broke about a month ago and at 6am an alarm went off in the kitchen... the ice and everything in the fridge started to melt and spilled over the drain pan triggering the water sensor behind my fridge. Works perfectly. I took off a star for easy installation as the installation process can be a bit confusing the first time. After that, you'll have the hang of adding additional sensors.
