Very easy to use and works as described. The surface is wide enough to hold a regular glass and a small bowl. I bought it to use in the back of our breakout because there is no place in the corner to have a drink. Also, I don't like the big bulky bags I've seen and I wanted something understated. Also, this space is quite cramped and I didn't want anything too thick leaving our sofa an awkward distance from the wall. It fits in all of these boxes and fits perfectly. The only downside is that the part it rests on is slightly narrower than the center surface of the tablet. I got up, put my hand on the pillow and pushed the lever that was pushing against the shelf, causing it to tip over and spilling my drink onto the couch. It was mostly user error and I'm not sure if the surface areas would have been narrower, which wouldn't have happened. I will continue to use it, but be more aware of its presence in the future and be more careful. I will also attach velcro to both bottom pieces to hold them in place better. If it works, I can buy another one for a spot in the section.
