Actually quite simple. Insert the stakes into the ground and start throwing shoes. The only two downsides to this are that the stakes can be a bit longer to better secure them in the ground, and after the shoes start hitting the sand the colors end up looking the same, so be sure to check the labels A and B relate. Or you can color them if you like. A travel case is good if you want to pack it in a camper for portability. I installed mine permanently in the backyard. I might end up buying some longer rebar from the post hardware store, but other than that it works fine.
