Update 12/25** I returned my 180hz monitor and replaced it with an ASUS PG279Q 1440p 165hz monitor TN and 1080p panel doesn't matter ). I'm glad I didn't bother sending the cable back as it does indeed work on this monitor. So I don't really understand why it doesn't work with the ASUS PG248Q 180Hz monitor. So it appears to be model specific if you run above 60Hz. I bought two of these because I have two monitors and I wanted my computer case to be as close to the wall as possible. It works fine on my 1440p 60Hz monitor (ASUS PB278Q) but not so well on my 1080p 180Hz monitor (ASUS PG248Q). Anything above 60Hz will start blinking like crazy (see video). Therefore does not work with 120Hz, 144Hz, 160Hz or 180Hz monitors. I may have the wrong settings but I'm hoping I can find a workaround as I need these cables. There aren't many 90 degree DP adapters out there.
