Review on Vornado MD1-0002 Replacement Humidifier Wick (2-Pack), White - Long-lasting Moisture and Clean Air Solution by Kai Steinbach

I have had a Vornado humidifier for many years and I am very satisfied. Filters are a different story. I find them inconsistent from order to order. The ones I bought in 2020 were excellent, the ones I got this year are a bit thicker than previous years and seem to slow the release of moisture into the air. I've also used fake brands. Big mistake. You've only sucked up water halfway through the filter! At least Vornado filters always work! By the way, filters are designed to trap dirt and bumps in the water, so they should be a little messy after use. I usually gently soak the filter in vinegar after 6 weeks when it's particularly dirty, which adds about a month to the life, but it's not as good as new. With 2 vinegar baths, the filter loses its structural integrity and becomes unusable. They're not perfect, but my Vornado humidifier is by far the best I've ever had, so I agree the filters could be better.
