First of all I only gave 3 stars because I bought 3 packs and only 2 work. I bought them for me and my kids to feel safer when we are alone. In a world like this, it's better to be safe now than apologize later. I also bought some other self defense items to make us feel more comfortable. We hope it's something we'll never need, but one day it might help save a life! I tested all 3 and only 2 of them work great. You simply pull out the plastic and then pull out the cord to set off the alarm and put it back in to stop it. I tried to contact the seller hoping to get it right but I couldn't figure it out.
