Review on ARANA C16-08568 20" Gas Lift Struts - Perfect For Trucks, RVs, And Boats - 20 Lbs Capacity - 2Pcs Set by Damian Lousteau

Ordered a pair of the 45lbs to replace the gas struts for the trunk of my 93 Nissan 240sx convertible. These were a little bit longer when extended than what I needed so I used a ratchet strap to compress the struts to install. Once installed, they worked fine. These struts are will not fully open the trunk by itself once you pull the trunk release lever. However, they will pop the trunk open a little and will push it up after you lift it about halfway. They do hold the trunk open well. It's been about 2 weeks and they are performing well. Will update in the future.
