We chose a spray collar as one of our options because we have a puppy and would like to use the mildest deterrent to see if it can help curb the barking. I have used several different collars with another dog and this one seems to work well with the pup. I was using a battery powered battery that always seems to have dead batteries that need replacing. It's getting tiring. I also have a remote control collar that works very well but you have to be home and listening to press the button when they bark. It's not real, so it doesn't really teach them to stop. The great thing about it is that it's rechargeable, so you don't have to constantly buy batteries. It's powered by the bark, so it actually trains them. And he only injects what they don't like. It worked wonders for the puppy. She doesn't bark at everything just yet, but she gets in the mood whenever she wants. The vibration doesn't hurt her, it's just a weird smell that she doesn't like and that makes her stop barking. She barks at something 2 times and then stops.
