I was so happy to receive them on the day they arrived. I've wanted salt and pepper shakers for a long time. They were packaged well so nothing could break. I proudly added pepper and salt and set them by the stove to use. Here this happy story ends. After a few days, the salt began to harden and stick together. I was like, ok no big deal, I just need a dehumidifier to absorb the extra moisture. However, less than a week after I put it in my kitchen, my dear husband went to use the pepper and the mold grew all over the surface of the pepper and was creeping up the sides! I didn't even know that peppers can go moldy. Unfortunately I don't have space in my kitchen to store stuff simply because it's "cute" so everything was scrapped. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.
