I've ridden this thing to hell and back. First I went on a trip to Vegas with my 93 GMC k1500, arrived safely, everything worked fine. I got halfway home, about 400 miles from home, and stopped in the grocery store lot to rest. 10:30 p.m. Suddenly my roommate was stiff, the truck was smoking/smoking. I parked the truck and popped the hood, jumped out, I popped the hood, lifted it 2 inches and the radiator exploded right in my face! Luckily it wasn't opened further, otherwise it would have been with me! My hypothesis is that while I was sleeping, the thermostat regulator kicked the dirt and over-pressurized the system, which blew up. And what really annoys me is that it can potentially smash your radiator and seize the engine! Not cool. So my advice to you is go to your local O'Reilly store and buy this exact controller, it cost me 73.99 + taxes. but it has a limited lifetime warranty. That means if that doesn't work, grab the broken one and go to O'Reilly and they'll get you a new one right away. Don't waste your time on Amazon for this product. I wish everyone the best of luck. Thank you for reading. Master OJ
