Syncing with the switch was very easy, although not very intuitive. The product description here says how to sync it, but there aren't any good instructions on the insert. Anything and everything was very easy. Press the home button for 4 seconds until it starts flashing the middle lights, then press the shutter button. So far, the controllers are pretty comfortable and haven't slipped a beat. I don't know how well they would hold up to my little one if he gets one but overall this is a great buy for the price.
