Review on Effortlessly Create Beautiful Bows with the Darice Designer Bowdabra Mini Bow Maker by Patrick Reynolds

Good for absolute beginners but no more than the

I had high hopes for this bow maker. I wish I could do more research, spend a few more dollars, and buy something else that works better for me - given my skill set, bow variety, and bow size. It's decent if you're new to bow making, of course. But if you want to take a bigger turn, this gadget isn't for you. Again, if you want a device with some weight, this isn't for you. It's pretty limited in design - and the ribbon punch tool is really useless - my hands work better and faster. I've been making bows for decades now and thought maybe this would help my sore and stiff hands - it actually didn't. I know how to do a lot of bow styles without a gadget and maybe I was just in too much of a rush to complete the project but I ended up getting annoyed with the Bowdabra's limitations and putting it aside. The guide contained some helpful tips. But in the end I gave up this device and started building bows without it. It became more of a hindrance than a help. I saw someone use a larger wooden base to make bows and was jealous - this is what I want to buy now. But I really loved saying "Boudabra" to the point where my kids got really annoyed.
