Slim, light and well made. about the maximum he can safely carry (perhaps too heavy to be honest). I'm planning to switch to a shorter/lighter board so it doesn't take too long, but at the moment the Wavestorm isn't the ideal board to carry with this rack. Another issue I had with the post was that it did not come with a rubber connector for the mounting clamp and as a result the post tends to wobble around the seat post. I've solved this problem (mostly) by buying a piece of rubber sheeting from a home store and cutting it to size, but it would be nice if it came in a box.
