Review on BRIS 12.5 Ft Inflatable Boat Inflatable Fish Hunter & Person Inflatable Raft Boat by Jaymai Alford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Solid boat for anyone on a budget

I bought this boat in May 2020. I've used it on lakes and plan to use it on the inland waters of the NC coast. The boat is carried in two bags, one with the boat itself (about 75 lbs) and another bag with the floors, paddles, seats, braces, etc (another 75 lbs). I used my 9.9hp johnson outboard on this boat and it moves pretty quickly when you don't have a ton of weight in it. I think a 15hp motor minimum is needed, and while the boat is rated to handle 25hp there is no information from the manufacturer on how much weight the transom can hold (for the record, the 9.9 johnson I am using weighs about 75 lbs). Make sure you clean it off and ensure its DRY before you store it! Also, my boat had a damaged part which the seller gave me $100 back for which was great customer service.

Pros
  • Love it, cruises right around the bay!
Cons
  • The size of the boat may be too large for some users, making it difficult to transport or store
