Review on Fill Rite FR604G 115V Fuel Transfer by Chris Doe

I bought this pump to replace a lever operated hand pump. This pump bent my plastic fuel tank and ended up destroying the tank fitting. It was also slow to use as I had to sit down and hold onto the top of the pump housing to reduce the flex. I don't think there would be such a problem with a steel tank. But I also had to stop and check the fuel level in the tractor when it was almost full. I just installed this electric pump. Installation took additional time because I had to support the heavy, unsupported end of the pump to attach it to my tank. There's a hose. I also had to make a hanger for the nozzle (nozzle and hose were bought separately). I buried an underground feed line from the workshop to the tank. I prefer the 120v version over the 12v version as it is not a mobile tank. Now it is possible to refuel diesel fuel quickly and easily. The 120v cable is plugged in at my shop so fuel theft shouldn't be a problem.
