I got this for my inflatable paddle board which came with a cheap two piece aluminum paddle. I've bought a full carbon paddle before and it's better if anything - decent, solid strokes and easy handling. One of the connectors is slidable for length adjustment and the other is a one-click connector. These connections are a bit trickier to disassemble and I greased another kayak paddle hoping it would be easier to disassemble, but this is not recommended. So early on, instead of packing it with your boat or board, take it apart and put it in a very nice soft tote bag.
