Description of πŸ„ Abahub Carbon SUP Paddles, 3-Piece Lightweight Stand-up Paddle Oars for Paddleboard, Adjustable Carbon Fiber Shaft 68" - 84", with Carrying Bag

CARBON DESIGN - LIGHTWEIGHT & DURABLE: Made of premium quality 1.25mm thick carbon fiber composite shaft, and fiberglass reinforced polypropylene blades, this sup/kayak paddle is impact and erosion resistent, thus for great durability. It is perfect for beginner and intermediate kayakers/paddlers. MULTI USE FOR SUP & KAYAK: This 4-sections multi use paddle is designed to convert easily into a kayak paddle (2 drip rings included) or a sup paddle. The anti-twist clamp and locking pin system prevents loosening in the water. The paddle floats in both salt and fresh water, so no need to worry paddle falling. FULLY ADJUSTABLE TO DIFFERENT USE: Once assembled to a sup paddle, it can be adjusted easily from 68’’ to 84’’, to fit most paddlers with different use. Our recommended paddle length is your height plus 6-8” for SUP surfing, plus 8-10” for flatwater and plus 10-12” for SUP racing. Once assembled to a kayak paddle, the length of this oar is set at 89 inches/226 cm, so it could fit most people over 5'5" with the common kayak length of 24' - 28'. TRAVEL FRIENDLY: With the premium carbon fiber shaft, the total weight of the 4 piece is 44 oz; when assembled, the sup paddle weighs just 28 oz while the kayak paddle weighs 39 oz. When disassembled, the package size is 33''x7.2'', which is convenient to carry around. It is compatible with the paddle bag we offer in another listing - B07QDN1V41. Please kindly note: the bag is NOT included in the package. WHY SHOP ABAHUB: We've been manufacturing paddles for over 10 years. We know what we're doing and we stand by our products. If you're not happy with our products, we'll offer you replacement or refund with "No Question Asked”.

Terrible pen! Super cheap plastic with a seam all the way up.

I had high hopes for this discounted carbon fiber paddle. But it only took 15 seconds to realize it wasn't going to work! The blade and shaft look and feel great, but they're totally CHEAPER on the handle! It literally looks like a flimsy children's toy, you can push it with your thumb. There is a cast line on the TOP RIGHT of the HANDLE. The bad news. 5 minutes of rowing with wet hands and your arm will be ripped. Too bad. If they would spend a few dollars more on the handle it would be very…

Lightweight, comfortable and comes with a great bag

I got this for my inflatable paddle board which came with a cheap two piece aluminum paddle. I've bought a full carbon paddle before and it's better if anything - decent, solid strokes and easy handling. One of the connectors is slidable for length adjustment and the other is a one-click connector. These connections are a bit trickier to disassemble and I greased another kayak paddle hoping it would be easier to disassemble, but this is not recommended. So early on, instead of packing it with…

Paddle is poorly constructed and breaks

I bought this paddle as a spare for travel and surfing. It's a little heavy but the price was right at the time and it came with a nice pouch. Unfortunately I had the same problem 3 times where the blade broke on the shaft. The first time it was found to be a manufacturing defect. The second time I was within the warranty period and they sent me a replacement. This paddle broke after less than a year but outside of the original warranty period so I'm out of luck now. Although they have offered…

$60 Paddle - Stand-Up Paddleboarding

New paddle but I've been around and played all kinds of sports and I can tell a good paddle from a bad one. It's just okay. For $60, here's a good one: - adjustable in length - decently light - doesn't bend. Responsive - Durable - Easy to store (3 pcs) Now for the bad: - This paddle is not properly weighted - Everything but the handle is cheap plastic. Sturdy but not perfect. Not comfortable. No padding for both hands. The top handle is cheaply made. Bottom line: a hybrid carbon paddle that…

Great value for money paddle

I bought this to replace a high end Warner paddle that I intend to keep on my sailboat. A piece of Warner is too long to be practical on a boat and such. Easy to assemble. I had to slightly loosen the Phillips screws on the locking mechanism to allow the handle to fit, but this is intended and described in the assembly instructions. It consists of three parts and has significant adjustment for rudder height and style/skill. Everything is carbon fiber except for the locking mechanism. Haven't…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

I chose a carbon fiber paddle and am very happy with the product. I wanted to invest in a paddle that would make an instant difference as I was using a standard aluminum shafted paddle with a plastic blade that is standard on many beginner boards. Having a quality paddle has definitely made a difference in my experience without having to shell out $1,000 on a new board. So if you're looking to upgrade some of your gear, I'd recommend starting there. This company has excellent customer service…

Why I love my Abahub SUP paddle

I bent the original aluminum Wavestorm SUP paddle that came with my Wavestorm SUP. I knew I wanted carbon fiber instead of aluminum so it wouldn't happen again. First I looked for customer reviews. I wanted to spend less than $100 on a paddle. I was also looking for a blue paddle to match my current SUP. This paddle ticks all of my boxes with a few unexpected bonus features. It had good customer reviews, it was under $100, and the swirling white on a blue background was an added plus since my…
