Review on 🚚 Andersen Hitches No-Sway Weight Distribution Hitch with 4in Drop/Rise, 2-5/16in Ball, and Universal Frame Brackets: Effortless Towing Solution by Timothy Barnes

The tow truck is a 2016 F-150 with a 5.5ft platform (super short tractor). The trailer is the keystone hideout 21BHWE from 2021 for reference. I towed the trailer a few times before buying a WD hitch and the swaying wasn't too bad when the wind wasn't blowing. When there was a moderate breeze, swaying to break the speed limit was almost uncontrollable. (If you live in Idaho you can be very lucky when there is no wind, so I decided to buy a WD anti-sway clutch.) I did a lot of research to identify brands and styles and their respective prices to compare. I've looked at different types of torsion bars but keep coming back to this hitch. After reading all the reviews about this company and their problems I thought I would go with them based on the customer support reviews alone. I placed my order through Mr. Bezos' Monopoly since we have one master account and it should have saved me $20. Ten days later, plus or minus, he arrived at my house. I immediately opened it up and started collecting it on the trailer and pickup. The instructions were very detailed and pretty easy to follow. You want to mount the trailer mounts 28-29 inches from the center of the ball so I chose the center at 28.5 inches. After completing assembly and docking the pickup and trailer, it seemed to me that I should have adjusted it closer to the 29" mark since I almost didn't adjust after tightening the chain adjustment nuts. I will add here that when I received the kit it did not have the pin that secures the triangle to the base of the ball. I emailed Andersen customer support that evening and received a response that same evening. The only question they asked me was "Which address is right for you?" To send me a pin. Fast forward to today, about a week after I emailed them about the missing needle and a package arrived at my house containing not one but two needles which I didn't originally receive. trailer in fair wind (10-15m/s) at motorway speed. Seems to be working very well, I'm against the influence and in regards to the jump coming down the road. Customer service is excellent and I will not buy another WD from anyone while it lasts. Business. I will update if anything changes. Buy it, you won't regret it!
