This isn't a professional tool (it comes close, but Skil doesn't have the proven track record of some contractor-oriented brands), but it's good enough for everyday use. I have a traditional Dremel and one of their 3 inch mini saws. It is battery powered and more functional than the 3 inch model. It is very ergonomic, with good balance and numerous grip options. The battery doesn't last forever (at 5.0Ah it's significantly longer than normal 2.0Ah batteries), but it's definitely enough for my needs. The battery (quite large) can also replace USB devices - nice! The price is high. I'd say it performs as well as others for the price, and it has convenient USB charging capability in a battery much larger than regular "starter" batteries. On the other hand, Skill sells the same grinder with a different battery for less than half the price. Recommended, but consider other options that may be more beneficial.
