I'm one of those people who travel back in time because I love setting the table beautifully and I love using silver. But cleaning silver is troublesome. I learned about this product from the women in the church who have responsibilities in the altar guild and take care of the sacramental silver. I'm so glad I heard about this product from them. It's much easier to use, gets the job done better, and is easier on the silver, but it can still handle heavily tarnished items. Now I like to polish silver. And while I cannot guarantee that you will enjoy cleaning silver, I am sure you will be glad you chose this product. I also don't like polishing brass and just found out that this isn't just a silver polish, it's an ALL METAL polish! Pays to read labels. Did an impressive job on my heavily tarnished beautiful brass candle holders and so easy. Another important thing I like about Simichrome. Hands and nails do not darken. Can be washed off immediately. Good.
