Ideal for undamaged jewelry

This is the best hidden secret used by professional jewelers. All real estate buyers know that. I've bought silver items on eBay that turned black because someone used harmful chemicals on the jewelry. never do that! I took these pieces to a jeweler and they put them in sonic machines and hand polished them and the tarnish wouldn't go away. The damage seemed irreversible until I used Simicrome. This is the only product that will not damage your fine silver jewelry and completely removes…

Fantastic results with minimal effort

I have brass parts that I'd rather look new, others like the patina. I collect Buck 110 and 112 knives, recently bought a 39 year old 112 with an Elk Stag (Buck Ranger) handle, only 100 of which are sold. It had a general patina that darkened the brass with a green tint, but there were also darker stains that worried me about possible damage. I got this to try, rubbed through all 4 blade rollers for a total of about 3 minutes. Felt very smooth and I saw right away that it worked. I've attached…

The best polish for household chrome!

I have loved these chrome-plated candle holders since I was a child – my mother bought them in Germany in the 70s and they were always on our holiday table. I found them after many years of storage and they were dull and faded. I've tried everything at the hardware store to refinish chrome, silver or any other metal and nothing has worked very well. They've gotten a little cleaner, but they never sparkled the way I remembered them. Then I found this stuff. I thought it was from Germany too, so…

Great product.: Car detailing

I'm one of those people who travel back in time because I love setting the table beautifully and I love using silver. But cleaning silver is troublesome. I learned about this product from the women in the church who have responsibilities in the altar guild and take care of the sacramental silver. I'm so glad I heard about this product from them. It's much easier to use, gets the job done better, and is easier on the silver, but it can still handle heavily tarnished items. Now I like to polish…

Simicrome is the best polish for metal.

I've been using Simicrome longer than you've lived. Simicrome requires some "elbow lube" but is the best polish for 24k gold, silver, chrome, or any other material. Metal. On some heavily tarnished surfaces I use Five-Oight (00000) steel wool. I use it on wedding rings, my wife's jewelry, car parts, anything (bare metal, no painted parts) - and recently on an antique gold hook. Gold hooks from dull oxidation to brilliant shine. Since Simichorme removes varnish, I sprayed this hook with clear…

Playing a bare brass tuba? Get this stuff.

No other brass polish works as well on heavily worn and tarnished German Silver (copper/nickel alloy). If you have an unfinished brass tuba, this will make removing that pesky patina much easier, and the copper-nickel finish and outer guide tubes will shine like a mirror (or bright silver plate). As with Brasso, Weenol or any other brass polish, you should degrease the metal after polishing to avoid black stains on hands and clothing for a few days afterwards. Trichlorethylene (Solvent 111…
