Review on πŸ“ž Enhanced Communication Efficiency: AT&T 993 2-Line Phone with Caller ID Charcoal by Jane Johnson

Really decent corded phone

I work from home a lot so I mostly work through conference calls and email. It's important that I have a good speakerphone with good sound quality on both ends of the line. This phone ticks all the boxes. I've had him for two years now. I've tried several other phones and keep coming back to this one. Why? For me the sound quality is the best. It can get very loud when you turn up the volume on both the handset and the speaker, and most importantly, the audio is very crisp and clear on both the speaker and the handset. Nobody hears me when I use the speakerphone and I don't have to shout. He definitely has quirks that annoy me. Sometimes the keys are finicky. The display is kind of primitive. The menu is strange. It lacks many of the features that some other phones have. But I'm willing to put up with all that because the phone is reliable, sturdy, well built and has good sound quality. I have tried Aastra, Uniden, Panasonic, other AT&T phones, vtech and other brands. I just haven't found anything that sounds that good. If anyone has one please let me know as I am always looking for the best corded phone for my home office.
