Would give 4.5 stars if possible. I used it to transfer fuel from the snowblower to the car (to winterize the snowblower). It worked very well for this small type of work. The clamps helped a lot in holding the hose in place in the car's tank while I manually inflated and moved the hose around the snowblower's tank. Gas cylinder mechanisms designed to prevent gas splashes/fumes inevitably lead to spills/splashes when I try to use them (for me). A clamp is useful for this since most small gas powered items won't hold as much as a gas bottle. - Turning the fuel by pumping it from the gas cylinders into the vehicle so that it is used up before it goes bad. Well: - nothing leaked. - Zip ties were good for securing the hose to the pump. - The blue adjustable diameter clamps were very good for securing the hose in place during use (the main reason I bought this version over other options). - well sized for the job I was doing (less than 1 gallon spilled from 1 tank to the other side). - The overall form factor including the hose is small making it easy to store away (the other option I used was the 3/4 inch hose which was bulky and awkward to store and use for small jobs and only may be recommended for delivery of 10 gallons of liquid). A small hose can reach hard-to-reach places to transfer as much liquid as possible (e.g. tank bends, corners, aquariums). corners, etc.). Bad: As another reviewer mentioned, the hose is slightly kinked (has kinks from shipping/packaging) - fix hose kinks by placing hose in sun (or warm water) and bending/flexing the kinks. Do this before use or you may have trouble folding/twisting the hose (ask me how I know). During a test run to check the length/positioning, the hose wanted to bend and roll up on me. The hose may be too small for larger jobs (unless you install a siphon and let it run unattended, remember to come back later). TL; DR This product works well for small/medium jobs once you've eliminated the inevitable kinks in the hose. For larger jobs, be patient or start the siphon and come back. The clips are a nice bonus for the price. I would buy this again.
