I ordered this because my previous ottoman was 6 years old and survived the child playing/hiding on it and everything else in between. Now I have another baby and it's time to retire him. I like this one better than my old one. One reason is that it has loops! I'm actually thinking of turning this into a toy box to save space in my living room. It opens easily and the lid stays open by itself. He's quirky too. It has legs and a "quilted" bodice. I love the look of the lid but my little one sometimes eats his snacks in the living room and I had to do a bit of work to get the granola crumbs out of the little prongs. I think it was a bit overpriced at $109 but it's a very good ottoman. beautiful. We'll have to see how he holds up. I would recommend it
