'Sun Zero' is definitely a misnomer and won't leave your windows open. I can't think of a less effective way to insulate your home. After you iron the curtains, they turn into a beautiful transparent layer. They offer some privacy but don't block much light and don't offer good thermal insulation. I took the attached shot on an overcast day, before we ironed the curtains - mixed sets of teal and gray are shown, the two on the right are shaded by a tree, the sun is on the other side of the house. Curtains do not come with ties. The polyester material looks glossy and shiny. very polyester.
