This is a fantastic toaster! Although the outside is made of plastic, you might think you are holding an "old-fashioned" toaster in your hands. Right out of the box I was able to get the toast color we like. If you're making bagels, set it to #1 and get the perfect color, regular white bread seems to toast perfectly on #2, English muffins toast well on #3, and rye bread toasts well on #5. Think twice They actually buy the second one I should have in my pantry when I wear these. If you are looking for a simple but very effective toaster then this is the one for you. I have to admit that I was hesitant because of the low price, but you don't have to spend a lot to get a lot.
