My husband works in construction and he uses these sleeves to help his aching knees. He doesn't like construction knee pads because they're bulky and don't protect his knees from pain. He says that after being slandered for a while, he loosens up and slips. But if you just wear it on your lap and don't move like him, you'll most likely be fine. Its only complaint is that with prolonged squats, the material clumps on the back of the knee and is uncomfortable. He also wishes the padding was thicker in the front of the knee. Again, these things are not a problem unless you are in the construction industry. I posted here because he is reviewing these cases so they will be a great buy for most people.
