This sprayer has a timer so you can schedule times to go on and off, but it doesn't measure humidity. The sprayer has everything you need (except a bucket of water) to install it in the terrarium. It is made of quality materials and well designed. I use a humidistat (sold separately) to control it, not a timer, but that's entirely optional. A built-in water filter is recommended (Stamets 1983) to prevent nozzle clogging due to impurities in most water sources.
