It was a real failure. Of the five regulators, all five worked fine for 3.3V. But wait! There is less! None of them worked properly at 5 volts. 3D from 4.2 to 4.5. One is measured at line voltage (9V) and one at 6 volts. They're useless for microcontrollers unless you care if the problem is low voltage or your circuit. I can't understand how this got good reviews unless the previous reviewers only worked at 3.3V or never broke a multimeter. spend more.
