I like how thin this cable is and it takes up less space than a standard Category 6 cable. One day I turned on my computer and noticed that my internet wasn't working. I was very frustrated so I decided to troubleshoot and was told to connect a Cat6 cable. Confused, I went to my router, rebooted it, unplugged the cable, and then plugged it back in. At first I thought my router was broken, but found that the cable had been severed at the pinch point and was no longer working as it was split in two. Be careful because this cable seems easier to cut than the traditional one.
