I am currently on my eighth year of riding Velcro, and I have absolutely no plans to switch to a spike any time soon. Performance of this model was normal before Goodyear bought it, but it wore out after two and a half winters. I really hope that this one is more durable. During that time, though, the temperature in Petersburg regularly surpassed five degrees Celsius. I will switch out the footwear on this model later, and sooner in the spring and summer respectively. B+ Velcro should not be heated and should not be ridden for extended periods of time since it will become very soft. This model may go as low as -30. It is now mounted on a Tiguan.
