The best part is the slot in the crutch holder. It's very well thought out. You can hold the cherry by the stem and slide the stem through the slot to keep the cherry in the cup. Then when you press the handle the pit stays in the cherry and often the pit stays on the stem which can be easily discarded. The second thoughtful feature is the minimal surface area of the hand going through the cherry during the pitting process. This results in VERY little waste considering the hole through happiness is minimal. I am very satisfied with this product. It's very well designed!
