Review on AMIGO AMI20014 Playin' Possum by David Hill

Super cute, super easy, super fun!

Playin' Possum Our 7 year old daughter loved this game when she saw it. She loved packing trash cans and recently became excited about the idea of possums after seeing one at the end of her driveway. So we found the game by accident, which meant we had to try. This is a super cute, super simple, super fun game! It's very fast - which is great since most kids games seem designed to maximize playtime AND difficulty, which isn't a good combination for today's attention spans. The game is very simple - there are 3 options for each move. That's all. It's easy to understand for kids and fun for everyone (even adults) because each round you guess what others will do. If you're right, you'll get a disgusting meal card (she thought that was hysterical). If you're wrong, you're out. That's all. It's more fun with more players - we played with 4, and that's about as many as I think it will work, otherwise not much guesswork. But with a big one (up to 10 is possible), I think it gets even better. Blaming someone else for the theft was certainly our daughter's favorite part of the game, especially since the cute instructions ask you to point your finger and make a specific explanation about it. She giggled the whole time and even won the round (although it was pretty predictable at the beginning lol). It was a lot of fun and short enough that we were able to play a few rounds without anyone losing interest or feeling like the game was dragging on.
