Great charger/weird choice of USB cable

I have a Samsung S9 and prefer wireless chargers wherever I sit and use my phone (and wish I could see the screen). Keep a Samsung branded charger on your bedside table as the main charger and wanted two more for home and desktop (but wanted something more affordable). Like Samsung chargers, they work great. They charge quickly and charge in landscape and portrait modes. and work my way through my thick protective shell. Reliable charger at a VERY good price. I would order more if I needed more. The charger comes with the stand itself and a USB cable (but no power adapter). The only reason I don't give it five stars is the charger. I found that the stand uses a micro USB cable (included) instead of USB. - With a string, a very strange choice. This rendered my fine collection of braided variable length USB-C cables instantly unusable with the charger. Damn. It comes with a micro USB cable. it's short (3 feet) and made of cheap plastic. It does its job, but there's nothing special about it. I just want the charging station to use USB-C. However, this is a very inexpensive charger that works great. for the price it doesn't get any better. Update 2019: Still using them. actually i ordered more. I have already bought four of these, two for me and two for my kids. They have iPhone X phones and I have a Samsung S9. This charger is suitable for both Apple and Samsung phones. Keep in mind that it only comes with a short 3ft micro USB cable. If you need a longer and/or better charging cable, get some variable length micro USB cables to match your chargers. These chargers are great value for money and will work with any wireless charging phone you have!
