Easy to install works as advertised

This is a surge protector that also serves to deal with "vampire power" which sounds really cool but really just means your electronics are drawing power even when they aren't included or in use. It's easy to use: you simply decide which devices you want to use always, which ones you want to manage your remaining devices, and which devices you want to keep only when you need them. I'm assuming most people use these for TVs, so I'll explain how I set mine up: Control Socket: TVAlways On: Router, Cable Box, Nintendo Switch (for charging when TV is off) Automatically Toggles: Soundbar , Roku, Player Blu-ray devices like the soundbar and the Blu-ray player get power immediately after turning on the TV, after which I can turn them on. Roku could be a bit pickier; It turns on automatically but takes a minute to warm up and can sometimes control the TV via the HDMI-CEC function after that. This isn't a huge problem and only seems to happen a small percentage of the time, but I'm not exactly sure why. I also found that a few outlets were placed too close together to use the unnecessarily large devices on my devices (mostly router and cable box). I like that they're spread out across four of them for that reason, I just want them spread out a bit rather than lumping six of them together at one end. Overall though, I think it's a really easy device to use. to lower your energy bill a bit and also reduce your environmental impact.
